What should I check first when looking at a used car on a dealer lot?
Going to look at several used cars this weekend. What's the most important thing to check first when you walk up? I don't want to get distracted by a shiny exterior.

Start with panel gaps and paint. Walk around in good light from different angles. If a panel is a different shade or hood-to-fender gap is wider on one side - that car has been in an accident. Don't even open the door before this check.
After exterior, lay on the ground and check under the car for rust and fluid leaks. Bring a flashlight. Surface rust on suspension is normal, rust holes in frame are not. Wet spots (not AC condensation) = walk away.
